The Ionia Cherry farm is one of the better known cherry farms in Ficksburg. They have over 1500 cherry trees which produces 13 varieties of red cherries and 4 kinds of yellow cherries.

They offer a tour which includes a walk through the plantation/ crop, the opportunity to pick your own cherries and taste them. There is also the option of cherry liquor tasting. Their Ionia Cherry Liqueur has become very popular for its lip-smacking deliciousness. Booking is required.
