Sandstone Estates houses a privately owned collection of steam locomotives and vintage farming machinery. These are housed on a beautiful working farm and some of the exhibits are used in the day-to-day running of the farm.

The 2-ft narrow gauge railway is at the centre of the farm's activities because it plays an important role in the ongoing transportation of items on the farm. There are, however, many other fascinating items of interest: military vehicles, agricultural traction engines, buses, cars, ox wagons and more!

There is a loyal following of international steam train enthusiasts who beat a path to this amazing facility. If steam and trains is your thing, you must not miss out on a visit here. They host an annual ten day steam festival here in the first half the year, so check out their website for information regarding this popular event.
