The Lion and Safari Park is a 600 hectare wilderness reserved situated in the Hartebeespoort, Magaliesburg and Cradle of Humankind area. The park offers guests an incredible opportunity to get up close to many of South Africa’s most iconic animals. Our mission is to provide an opportunity for guests, both local and international to learn more about these wonderful African animals. Our staff and volunteers are there to answer any questions, and we would be delighted to assist.

CLOSE UP ANIMAL VIEWS
The Lion and Safari Park offers a wealth of exciting activities for the whole family. Guests are guaranteed the opportunity to get extremely close to many of Africa’s most exciting animals including Brown and White Lion, Wild dog, Cheetah and over twenty different African wildlife species. While exploring the park guests will get the opportunity to view many amazing animals including Zebra, Giraffe, Gemsbok, Springbuck, Blesbuck, Sable, Nyala and many many more.

GUIDED TOURS
With both game viewing trucks as well as more traditional land cruiser style safari vehicles there are numerous ways to explore the park. Our exclusive two and a half hour Safari Tour makes use of one of our custom designed open game drive vehicles and offers an unforgettable safari experience.

RESTAURANTS & RETAILS SHOPS
The Lion and Safari Park offers a delicious array of dining options thanks to the Wetlands Restaurant and Bar. Also situated at the Lion and Safari Park is the renowned Bull and Buck Grill, an incredible culinary experience for the whole family offering a wide variety of delicious dishes.

For those who feel like indulging in some retail therapy the unique 5 Dome Shopping Experience situated at the Lion and Safari Park offers an immense range of arts, crafts, jewellery and clothing from all over Africa. Also available is a wide variety of homeware, toys and kiddies clothing.

The Lion and Safari Park is open 365 days a year from 830AM until 9PM.

The Lion and Safari Park boasts the world’s largest Photographic Centre; the centre offers a one stop printing and photographic solution. Print your personal pictures at low-cost and have your photos taken professionally with the animals or in front of our green screen and choose from a variety of fun backgrounds. Select your photographs, order beautifully bound photobooks, prints, mugs or choose from a wide variety of other options.

SHUTTLE SERVICES
Use our door-to-door shuttle service for your convenience and peace of mind. You will be collected from your hotel, airport, house or any other location and brought back safely after your Lion and Safari Park visit.
