The Campbell Collections at the University of KwaZulu-Natal concentrates on the history of southeast Africa. It includes 18th and 19th century Cape furniture, 19th century topographical paintings, 20th century African art works and vast collections of the material cultural artifacts from the indigenous African cultures of southern Africa, such as costume, woodcarving and pottery.
