Holnek Game & Nature Reserve is about 30km's from Chrissiesmeer, in Mpumalanga.

There are more than 18 species of game i.e. Blue Wildebeest, Kudu, Gemsbuck, Zebra, Blesbuck, Springbuck, Grey Rhebuck, Mountain Reedbuck, Eland, Hartebeest, Waterbuck and a variety other small game. The reserve has many bird species, of which more than 100 are listed.
Holnek Game and Nature reserve offers a wide variety of activities for all nature lovers.

There's a challenging 4x4 route as well as a variety of scenic hiking trails.

For the anglers there are 3 dams stocked with Black bass, Florida Bass and Carp.
