Wellington Golf Club was established in 1908, a well manicured 9 hole golf course with a membership of 625 and a par 72 rating.

The club is well known for its warm hospitality and casual facilities, for its members and visitors. The facilities include a lounge hall with its own bar for private and social events.

To celebrate its centenary in 2008, four new greens were established. The surrounding mountains are visible from most parts of the golf course and adds to a tranquil and serene atmosphere while enjoying a challenging golf course.

The club is committed to junior golf and works closely with the Boland Golf Union in its various programmes and also making its various facilities available to the local schools.

Local Rules
Out of bounds: Electric fence around the course. (Regard the Electic fences as live at all times)
Ground under repair: All drainage sluits, tractors spoors (excl. hazards) and marked G.U.R areas.
Hazards: All sluits marked with yellow and red stakes. Dams on left and right of 2nd and 11th fairways. Dam next to green at 4th and 13th. Dam next to 7th and 16th green.
Young planted trees: If a tree less than 2 club lengths in height interferes with a players’ swing, the ball must be dropped behind within two club lengths from the tree not nearer to the hole as well as staked trees.
Suckers: Ball may be lifted and dropped without penalty through the green (excl. hazards) - not nearer the hole.
Roads: According to local rules.
Placing: According to local rules.
Sandbags: Are compulsary.
Distances: All distances are measured to the centre of the green.
