The Batstone Pool is an inner city rooftop retreat right in Cape Town’s De Waterkant. It's for you to, meet, drink, swim, relax and even work.

We have seen cities like London, New York and San Francisco embrace rooftop pool culture and thought – why not in one of the most beautiful cities in Africa.

The inner city rooftop retreat has been designed as a meeting and relaxing space in between the noise of the city.

The combination of the swimming pool, meeting tables, great coffee, pool loungers, soft shade, fast internet and a view of the mountain creates the perfect place to spend a Sunday afternoon in the pool, host some friends, enjoy an afterwork drink, catch up on your reading and listen to some great music.

Basically – think Soho House in Cape Town. And you don’t even have to catch a flight to enjoy the space or have a profitable meeting.

Menu
Our menu is one of curated taste and experience. We have a selection of local wines, gins and beers – all sourced from great local, artisanal start-ups.

Membership
Anyone is welcome to join us at the bar for a drink. And there are three ways of getting onto one of our loungers:
- ICIC members & Batstone Pool seasonal members can book their loungers in advance and join us for the day, no questions asked.
- We welcome walk-ins, however we require a minimum spend of R150 per person and you cannot book loungers in advance.
