Geluksburg is a village in the KwaZulu Natal province in South Africa, close to the Free State border between the Oliviershoek and Van Reenen mountain passes.
Suffice to say that these are both hamlets, the only reason for including them here is that they lie in spectacular scenery. There really isn’t much to do in either place, except sit back and enjoy the views.
The surrounding area is a fly fishing mecca (the local trout fishing club has access to 160km of river and 60 dams) and provides a much-needed respite from the busier touristy areas of the Berg.
