Suffice to say that these are both hamlets, the only reason for including them here is that they lie in spectacular scenery. There really isn’t much to do in either place, except sit back and enjoy the views. However, the surrounding area is a fly fishing mecca (the local trout fishing club has access to 160km of river and 60 dams) and provides a much-needed respite from the busier touristy areas of the Berg.
You may know the name Himeville because of the Splashy Fen Music Festival which takes place every year over the Easter weekend. The combination of music, arts and crafts, food and (especially) drink are alluring to all music fans.
