Mbazwana, lying about 50km east of Ubombo, takes its name from the tributary of the Mseleni River. With a total population of just under 4 500, it is the quieter of its neighbour, Sodwana Bay. Mbazwana benefits from the tourist industry that flocks to Sodwana Bay for its plant and animal life and for the world class scuba diving.
