Inhambane is bordered to the North by the Provinces of Manica and Sofala, to the South and East by the Indian Ocean, and to the West by the Province of Gaza, and is considered as perhaps one of the best quality tourist regions in Mozambique.
Inhambane is the capital city of the province, and offers the visitor can visit the local museum and monuments and places that are testimony to the presence of the people that have passed through this land.
