Petite Soeur island is situated 6km northeast of neighbouring La Digue and in close proximity to Félicité and to Ile Cocos Islands. The islands of Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur are commonly referred to as 'The Sisters Islands.'
Petite Soeur Island is a popular venue for excursions on account of its spectacular ocean panoramas and the excellent opportunities on offer for trekking and picnicking.
The island is also famous for snorkeling and diving in waters where the marine life is prolific.
