Bloubergstrand
With a view of Robben Island from its shores, Bloubergstrand, is a gorgeous seaside suburb nestled along Table Bay. Bloubergstrand is one of the best beaches in the Western Cape when it comes to activities. Situated approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Cape Town, Bloubergstrand is one of the world’s most popular kitesurfing destinations, also offering surfing, windsurfing and a variety of other outdoor sports.

One unique feature about Bloubergstrand is the massive coal ship that ran aground off its shores in 2009. The 77m Turkish vessel has, according to local surfers and kitesurfers, enhanced conditions for water sports along this stretch of coastline, because of the way it redirects the waves and provides shelter from the wind.

Milnerton
Milnerton is a suburb in Cape Town's West Coast region, just south of Bloubergstrand and Table View. This suburb is relatively large and incorporates Bothasig, Monte Vista, Summer Greens, Century City and the infamous Canal Walk Shopping Centre & Ratanga Junction. It is also a relatively quick drive to the City Centre, the V&A Waterfront and plenty other renowned attractions.

West Beach
West Beach is a tiny suburb situated between the banks of Table Bay and the West Coast Road and surrounded by Bloubergstrand. It may be small but this little area boasts an incredible vibe with some awesome pubs and water sports activities to partake in!
