The large and scarcely populated Omaheke Region in the east of Namibia on the Botswana border, lends itself to vast open savannas, which in itself leads to ideal cattle farming, game viewing and trophy hunting.
The region's capital city is called Gobabis (affectionally known as the "Little Texas" of Namibia); a town situated 200 kilometers from Windhoek and about 110 km to/from the Buitepos Border post with Botswana - Mamuno Border).
